We had a fantastic stay at this hotel in the midst of the Atlas Mountains. The location was perfect, allowing us easy access to the waterfalls and the local area. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, ensuring that we had everything we needed during our stay. The hotel facilities were great, from the comfortable beds to the cozy communal area where we spent many hours. The cleanliness of the hotel was also impressive, making us feel comfortable and at home. Additionally, the breakfast provided was delicious and the view from the roof terrace was breathtaking.

The rooms at Douar Samra are absolutely charming! I stayed in one that had a balcony overlooking the magnificent mountain views, and it was truly breathtaking. The cozy atmosphere created by the candles and candle lamps added a touch of romance. The low beamed ceilings in the lounge/dining room created a cozy and rustic ambience that made me feel right at home. The seating area in the guest rooms was a perfect spot to relax and unwind after a day of exploring. And the private bathroom with a shower was clean and modern.

Personally, I wasn't a big fan of the candle lighting in the main house. Some might enjoy the romantic ambiance, but I found it a bit dim for my liking.

The staff tapping the tip box immediately upon payment felt a little forced. It was also a bit hard to locate the hotel if you were driving there independently.

Douar Samra is my go-to place in the mountains. Staff gave me useful info initially. It has all I need - Wi-Fi, parking, shuttles, kettle, cots. I keep coming back for its romantic atmosphere. No regrets!

Exploring the Atlas Mountains was made even better with the assistance of a knowledgeable guide, who was easily arranged on-site. The attention to detail in the rooms was impressive. Though there were no mod cons like electricity in some rooms, it only added to the unique ambiance of the lodge. Lastly, we were grateful for the warm and welcoming hosts who made us feel right at home. I will definitely recommend this hotel for an unforgettable rustic adventure.
